Butterfly Map Haven began with a simple but enduring conviction: every woman deserves the opportunity to rebuild her life with dignity, hope, and purpose.
More than a decade ago, God placed this vision on my heart. Having witnessed the effects of domestic violence and instability firsthand, I saw how difficult it can be to move beyond survival when support is limited. I also experienced the life-changing impact of faith, compassionate people, and the belief that our past does not have to define our future.
That vision became Butterfly Map Haven—a Christ-centered nonprofit dedicated to helping women rebuild after domestic violence, housing instability, and life-altering circumstances. We believe lasting change requires more than temporary shelter. It happens through safe housing, meaningful relationships, practical life skills, mentorship, and the hope found in Christ.
Our commitment also extends beyond responding to crisis. We believe prevention matters. By investing in youth through healthy relationship education, resilience, and character development, we hope to help break cycles before they begin and strengthen future generations.
